The leading figure

Stefania Guerra Lisi - Master of Arts, then docent in Drawing Techniques and History of Art. She collaborated with such artists as Fazzini, Guttuso, Mannucci, Montanarini and Turcato. She gave seminars on non-verbal languages in several Italian Universities. For 20 years she has been teaching pedagogical and communication sciences at the University of Roma La Sapienza and Roma Tre.
Expert in the rehabilitation processes of the sense-, motor- and mentally- disabled, and particularly in coma-reawakening, Guerra Lisi has worked in diverse Centres and Institutes for disabled and in several psychiatric institutions. Since 1980, she has been the creator of the Method of “Globalità dei Linguaggi”, giving courses and seminars for all kinds of institutions (associations, schools or health centres) in Italy and abroad (including Switzerland, Spain, Finland, France and Mexico). From 1982 to 1997 she has been docent at the 4-year course of Music Therapy at Cittadella, in Assisi. Since 1996 she chairs the 4-year School in Globalità dei Linguaggi, in different places, and is docent at the Master of her own discipline at University of Roma “Tor Vergata”.
She is author of several pubblications and promoter of annual National Congresses on GdL. Mother of an encephalopathic daughter named Elvira, she is President of A.N.I.S. (National Association for Social Integration).
