The Discipline

Methods - Project focused on the Person’ , central in GdL as discipline: in any therapeutic project, the globality of the person is considered, and the whole cure is organized in accordance with the whole extension of daily life. The stages are: observations of psycho-sensorial-motory behaviours; identification of the Person in his/her globality; planning of a development-reactivation of the personality; verification of the path.
Specific and primary tools for behavioural observation are all the theories above mentioned. Their employment implies a priority of investigation methods such as abduction, crucial for guessing the points of reference in the whole complexity. Further on, metaphorical thinking and imaginative schemes, are a bodily form of thinking, complementary yet alternative to rational thinking, linear concepts and logical paths: in many situations they are the sole resource for communication and expression. A collective and integrated therapy-training is a strategy that enables the emergence of common potentials, the enhancement of group energy, therefore realizing integration in principle. To come into play, hand-to-hand, bodily contact is crucial to establish a communication based on equality, in any condition: this is the first step in the direction of taking care of anybody. A playful style: joy of life, optimism founded on confidence towards human potentials, aesthetic praise of all diversities, satisfaction of common growth within integration. Common strategies for training and integration are: psycho-bodily tales and dramatization of myths, fairy tales, short stories and motives; psychodrama; psycho-sensorial-motory games, manipulation and pedipulation with all sorts of matter; symbolic games; interdisciplinary paths.
